A new free exhibition at the Seoul Museum of History looks at 60 years of master planning, effectively asking how official plans helped produce the Seoul people live in today.

From the 1966 master plan to the present

“Seoul Urban Planning Grand Exhibition” begins with the city’s 1966 master plan and follows planning decisions through 2026. For residents, that turns an abstract subject into something more concrete: transport corridors, development centers, housing districts and the changing relationship between the old core and expanding metropolitan Seoul.
